Larry Wheels is an up an coming powerlifter who has recently taken the bodybuilding and

strength world by storm with his seemingly impossible feats of strength such as his 585lb deadlift for 20 reps and his 500lb standing overhead press.

Larry Wheels body does not seem to react to lifting crushing poundages the way that everyone else does.  I’m guessing he has some really unusual leverages in his tendon and bone angles/lengths.  I’ve seen many bodybuilders more muscular than him fail when trying to lift weights for a single rep that Larry will use for his working sets.  He’s a young guy in his mid twenties who is threatening to break most raw all-time powerlifting records.

Larry seems like a decent guy, he grew up in New York and was living in foster care during his youth.  Wheels joined his first gym when he was 15 years old and he says it only took him a year before he was the strongest person there.  As he progressed in his training Wheels moved on to training at Bev Francis Powerhouse Gym in New York.  He’s always been honest, which is a VERY good sign of integrity when it comes to choosing who you will listen to in the bodybuilding and fitness industry.  I remember when i first heard of Larry Wheels, was when he competed at the first ever Dorian Yates Super League competition that my close friend World’s Tallest Bodybuilder Aaron Reed competed in.  There was controversy started by some Super League officials

namely Mike O’Hearn when after the competition Larry decided to make a video detailing his steroid stack he used to get ready for the competition.  It’s not traditional at all for competitors in athletics to talk about the drugs they use to increase their physical abilities.  When Larry talked about the steroids he uses (which i think i remember being a few anadrol 50 tablets per day, some testosterone, and growth hormone. don’t remember what else) it caused a lot of self righteousness.  Many bodybuilders who are ‘natural’ spoke up and said there no place in our sports for competitors like Larry Wheels who talk about the drugs they use and that he should be banned.  Unfortunately,  the people calling for Larry Wheels to be banned from Super

League for talking about his steroid use are massive hippocrates and lifelong steroid users themselves.  They were just angry that Larry was exposing what it takes to develop body and strength to that level, so they were trying to defame and discredit him.  Those fake natural bodybuilders who get upset when some bodybuilder talks about their drug use are only upset because they are worried people will then look at them and be able to see through their lies of being natural.  This threatens them financially since many fake natty bodybuilders make their living through scamming and lying to people about what products etc. they use to obtain their bodies.

Powerlifting Records – In November of 2017, Larry competed in the 275-pound weight class and commandeered a raw, combined world record of 2,275 pounds.  He deadlifted 855lbs, bench pressed 610lbs, and squatted 810lbs on that day.

Recently Larry Wheels moved to Los Angeles where  he has been training with Bradley Martyn at Zoo Culture Gym.  Larry has also been filming workouts with Strongman Thor Bjornson The Mountain.  Larry is still very young in his mid twenties and expect most raw world powerlifting records to be broken by him during the next 10 years.
